Job Description


The Fountain Group is a national staffing firm, and we are currently seeking a Digital Marketing Project Manager for a prominent client of ours. This position is 100% REMOTE Details for the position are as follows:


Rate: $50-$53/hour

Assignment: 1 year (potential to extend based on performance and business needs)

Location: Remote (PST Hours)


The Interactive Project Manager is responsible for planning and executing all digital projects supporting integrated agency campaigns. This role partners closely with creative, account, development, and technical teams to ensure digital deliverables are launched on time, on strategy, and on budget.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own project planning and execution for digital initiatives across integrated campaigns
  • Develop and manage project schedules, scopes of work, and timelines; clearly communicate status, milestones, and risks to stakeholders
  • Lead regular status meetings with internal teams and clients to review progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Set up and manage digital project workflows and routing through internal approval systems (ProofHQ / Workfront), client reviews, and cross-functional approvals
  • Prepare and submit assets for Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review via Veeva, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant
  • Coordinate interactive resources across studio, programming, and creative teams to meet project goals
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party development and deployment vendors, managing expectations and resolving issues as needed
  • Schedule team meetings, capture meeting notes, and distribute recaps with clear action items
  • Create, compile, and maintain project and department documentation, including technical documentation, server folder structures, spec sheets, and estimate tracking


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably within a marketing or advertising agency
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business, industry, or project experience within the interactive/digital space
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of web technologies, digital platforms, and current digital trends
  • Working knowledge of digital project lifecycles and various project management methodologies


Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotech, or other highly regulated brands within an agency environment
  • Hands-on experience managing MLR submissions and approvals in Veeva Vault
  • Familiarity with ProofHQ and/or Workfront for routing, reviews, and version control
  • Experience managing digital deliverables including websites, landing pages, emails, banners, and interactive assets
  • Prior experience coordinating with third-party developers and deployment vendors
  • Comfort working across cross-functional teams (creative, account, medical, legal, regulatory, and technology)
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced agency timelines
