  • Can derive technical approaches from user or mission needs
  • Are self-driven, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning

Responsibilities

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of IT processes for planning, execution, and reporting across DevSecOps, requirements management, architecture, integration, verification and validation, transition, configuration management, software engineering, cybersecurity, cloud services, multi-level security solutions, and the full Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Champion Agile development practices and modern DevSecOps workflows while providing technical guidance on best practices to team members and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for DevSecOps standards, processes, architectural designs, and other required technical artifacts.
  • Coordinate with technology vendors to evaluate features, discuss architectural needs, and ensure alignment with ecosystem requirements.
  • Support the design and definition of system architectures for new and existing solutions.
  • Assist in the implementation, expansion, configuration, compliance, security, operation, and maintenance of the technologies and tools that comprise the broader ecosystem.
  • Oversee and maintain the reliability, performance, and operational health of supported systems.
  • Manage and support CI/CD activities related to system infrastructure, pipelines, and associated tooling.
  • Ensure security principles and best practices are consistently applied across all processes.
  • Collaborate with Information Assurance and Cybersecurity SMEs to ensure required security controls are implemented and validated.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code artifacts for the cloud services that support the system.

Qualifications Required

  • Direct experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, with Azure Government experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience creating and managing Kubernetes resources (e.g., secrets, ingress, services, deployments, namespaces, and RBAC).
  • Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise CI/CD pipelines, jobs, and reusable templates.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and Buildah.
