Cloud Data Architect (Contract-to-Hire | 6 months)

Location: 100% Remote (ET/CT preferred)

Join a high-growth company in the middle of a greenfield SAP S/4 RISE implementation. We’re hiring a Cloud Data Architect to lead the design and delivery of a modern data warehouse + lakehouse and the enterprise analytics platform that will power reporting across the business.

What you’ll do

• Architect a cloud data warehouse/lakehouse to ingest large-scale transactional + operational data
• Define integration and ingestion strategies; oversee pipeline design and delivery

• Build a reference architecture using Databricks Delta Lake (or similar)
• Lead semantic modeling to unify reporting across Tableau, Power BI, and SAP Analytics Cloud
• Optimize performance (query tuning, modeling, data layout, scalability)

What we’re looking for

• 7+ years in data engineering/data architecture (must have helped stand up data warehouses)

• SAP S/4 experience strongly preferred (major hiring factor)
• Cloud experience: Azure preferred (AWS/GCP ok)
