Job Description


For our international client, we are looking for an experienced ITIL/Service Transition Manager.

You will act as an interface between the project team and the operations team and will ensure a smooth transition to operations.

You will be responsible for ensuring that new solutions, processes and procedures are technically sound, fully documented and seamlessly handed over to the client’s Operations/Support teams.

You are the gatekeeper of production stability.


Tasks:

• Act as ITIL/Service Transition Manager

• Ensure smooth transition to operations team

• Ensure new solutions, processes and procedures are stable and transitioned to operations/support team

• Operational Readiness: Define and enforce "Ready for Production", "Handover sign-off" and "documentation readiness" criteria for the project team

• Document and hand over to support team

• Manage ticket triage, prioritization and developer-to-support communication

• Coordinate and facilitate training sessions between subject matter experts and support staff

• Stakeholder Management

• Exit Governance: Manage the formal sign-off process to transition ownership from Project to BAU (Business as Usual).


Requirements:

• Extensive project experience in IT Project Management, IT Service Management and/or IT Transition Management

• Strong project experience with ITIL v4 (specifically Service Transition and Service Design)

• Splunk or security tooling implementation experience

• Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management)

• PMP or Prince2 Certification

• Preferred: ITIL v4 Managing Professional (MP) or Strategic Leader (SL) designation qualification

• Experience in large international project environments

• Project experience in the manufacturing industry, production industry, automotive or automotive supplier industry

• Fluency in English


Project details:

• Start: ASAP

• Duration: 3 months (+ option to extend)

• Workload: 5 days per week

• Location: 100% Remote

• Languages: Fluency in English
