Ecommerce is a key growth channel for Vitakraft Sun Seed. The Ecommerce Manager is responsible for driving profitable ecommerce growth by owning customer relationships, sales performance, and execution across all ecommerce channels. Reporting to the Senior VP of Sales, this role serves as the primary account manager for key ecommerce customers while partnering closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations to deliver strong omni-channel results.
This role is eligible to be fully remote and requires a well-rounded ecommerce professional with experience in account management, sales strategy, and ecommerce execution—not solely digital marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Own sales performance and P&L across ecommerce channels including Amazon, Chewy, Walmart.com, Petco.com, Petsmart.com, distributors, and marketplaces
- Serve as the primary point of contact for ecommerce customers, leading line reviews, assortment planning, pricing, promotions, and joint business planning
- Develop sales forecasts, seasonal plans, and monthly projections
- Identify growth opportunities through assortment optimization, promotional strategy, and channel expansion
- Partner with field sales teams to support a cohesive omni-channel strategy
- Execute ecommerce strategy aligned with overall company and sales objectives
- Collaborate with Marketing to align media, content, and brand initiatives with customer and sales goals
- Oversee day-to-day execution across ecommerce platforms, including agency management for Amazon Vendor and Seller Central
- Partner with Supply Chain to ensure inventory supports sales plans and growth objectives
- Ensure digital shelf excellence, including content accuracy, pricing, promotions, and product availability
- Drive PDP content AMZ: execute content projects (A+ Premium, Brand Story, product pictures)
- Media: execute and optimize AMZ media campaigns (AMS)
- Oversee internal and external troubleshooting (e. g. ordering and catalogue issues)
- Track and analyze ecommerce KPIs including revenue, margins, conversion, ROI, and inventory health
- Use data and insights to inform decisions, customer discussions, and internal planning
- Provide financial rationale for promotional activity and digital investments

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; CPG experience preferred
- 3–5+ years of ecommerce experience with demonstrated account management and sales ownership
- Experience managing major ecommerce platforms such as Amazon, Chewy, or similar customers
- Strong financial and analytical skills with forecasting and P&L management experience
- Customer-centric, results-driven mindset with strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ecommerce platforms, Amazon Advertising, digital shelf tools, and PIM systems (Salsify a plus)
- A strong understanding of and experience in working with Amazon Vendor/Seller Central
