About the Role
We're looking for a creative, strategic, and highly organized Part-Time Social Media Manager to join our team. If you're a natural storyteller, passionate about social media, and excited to help grow a mission-driven brand that brings joy, we'd love to meet you!

What You'll Do
Social Media Strategy & Execution
- Plan the strategy for, and execute, our social media strategy for @TheNewForevers across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and additional platforms
- Develop and maintain a content calendar that aligns with product launches tied to key events, awareness campaigns (Alzheimer's, brain health, Grandparents Day, etc.), and brand initiatives
- Post consistently and engage authentically with our community through comments, DMs, and conversations
- Synchronize with PR efforts to maximize impact and amplify messages
- Monitor social conversations and trends related to grandparenting, brain health, family connection, and aging to identify content opportunities
Content Creation & Creative
- Create engaging, on-brand static and dynamic content including reels, photos, carousels, stories, and short-form videos
- Write compelling captions that reflect our brand voice—warm, authentic, science-informed, and uplifting
- Source or create user-generated content, testimonials, and customer stories that showcase real family moments
- Collaborate with our Marketing Manager on visual assets and campaign creative
- Edit photos and videos using Canva, CapCut, or similar tools
Community Management & Partnerships
- Manage influencer partnerships, collaborations, and outreach with relevant creators in the parenting, grandparenting, senior care, and brain health spaces
- Build relationships with micro-influencers, family content creators, and brand advocates
- Respond to comments, messages, and community inquiries in a timely and brand-appropriate manner
- Maintain cohesive brand messaging across all digital touchpoints

Analytics & Optimization
- Track analytics and make data-driven recommendations based on performance and trends
- Monitor key metrics including engagement rate, reach, follower growth, and conversion
- Test different content formats, posting times, and messaging to optimize performance
- Provide regular reports on social media performance and insights
Strategy & Collaboration
- Stay up to date with platform updates, industry trends, news, new tools, and creative opportunities
- Collaborate with the team on product launches, campaign concepts, and brand storytelling
- Identify emerging platforms and opportunities for brand expansion
- Bring fresh ideas and creative concepts to weekly team meetings
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 3-4 years of successful experience with social media management and content creation
- Strong creative eye with an ability to concept, create, and execute compelling content across multiple formats
- Proven track record of growing social media accounts and driving engagement
- Knowledge of analytics, KPIs, and performance optimization across platforms
- Experience creating short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Stories)
- Excellent writing and communication skills with attention to detail
- Highly organized self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, flexible work environment
- Comfortable working in a remote-first organization

Time Commitment & Schedule
This is a part-time position (approximately 20-25 hours per week) with flexible hours. You'll need to be available for weekly team meetings and responsive during core business hours for community management, but otherwise can structure your time to fit your schedule.

Compensation
You’ll be paid $3,000 per month, working approximately 25 hours per week.
