-- MISSION --
As the Head of Product, you'll own the product roadmap end-to-end and make the majority of day-to-day decisions on features, design, UX, prioritisation, and growth initiatives. You'll report directly to the CEO and work closely with our engineering team to ship high-impact improvements that drive user adoption, retention, and expansion in the competitive leave management space.
You are expected to translate their high-level vision and strategy into actionable plans and execute with autonomy.
-- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES --
- Own and evolve the product roadmap: PrioritiSe features, improvements, and experiments based on user feedback, data, competitive analysis, and business goals.
- Drive day-to-day product decisions: From ideation and requirements to wireframes, design details, feature specs, and go/no-go calls.
- Lead design and UX: Work with AI tools and contractors (no dedicated internal designer yet) to create intuitive interfaces, flows, and prototypes that delight users in Slack/Teams/Google ecosystems.
- Collaborate closely with engineering: Bridge product and dev: write clear specs, participate in dev rituals, unblock engineers, and ensure technical feasibility while pushing for elegant solutions.
- Identify and optimise growth loops: Experiment with onboarding, activation, retention tactics, pricing experiments, and feature-led growth to accelerate user value and revenue.
- Gather and synthesise inputs: Run user interviews, analyse usage data, monitor support tickets, and stay ahead of HR Tech trends to inform priorities.
- Ship relentlessly: Define MVPs, launch features, measure impact, iterate quickly, and communicate updates to users and stakeholders.

-- REQUIREMENTS -
- 5+ years in product management, ideally in B2B SaaS (HR tech, productivity, collaboration tools a big plus).
- Strong technical savviness: Deep understanding of software development (able to speak fluently with engineers about APIs, integrations, frontend/backend trade-offs, scalability).
- Excellent design eye and taste: Proven ability to create or guide clean, intuitive UX/UI without a dedicated designer.
- Startup mindset: Comfortable in ambiguity, hands-on across the stack, and excited to wear multiple hats in a small team.
- Data-driven + user-obsessed: Experience using analytics, A/B testing, and qualitative feedback to make decisions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder skills: Able to align engineers, leaders, and customers around priorities.
- Bonus: Experience with Slack/Teams/Google integrations and HR/PTO/leave management domain
