This role is critical to ensuring accurate payroll execution, timely statutory filings, and seamless coordination with internal stakeholders and government authorities.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management (Thailand)
- Process monthly payroll accurately and on time in compliance with Thailand labor laws and company policies
- Maintain payroll records including salaries, allowances, deductions, and benefits
- Ensure correct calculation of taxes, social security contributions, and other statutory deductions
- Manage year-end payroll activities, reconciliations, and reporting

Statutory Compliance & Filings
- Prepare, review, and submit Social Security Fund (SSF) filings monthly
- Prepare and file PND1 (Monthly Withholding Tax Return) within statutory deadlines
- Prepare and submit PND1 Kor (Annual Withholding Tax Return)
- Manage Workmen’s Compensation Fund (WCF) declarations and annual filings
- Prepare and issue 50 TAWI (Withholding Tax Certificates) to employees
Regulatory & Audit Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Thai Revenue Department, Social Security Office, and Department of Labor regulations
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready payroll and statutory documentation
- Support internal and external audits with required payroll and compliance data
- Track changes in Thai labor laws and tax regulations and implement updates accordingly
Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, and Accounting teams to ensure payroll accuracy
- Liaise with payroll vendors, tax consultants, and government authorities as needed
- Respond to employee payroll and tax-related queries in a timely and professional manner

Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll and compliance reports
- Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of payroll data
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field
- Proven experience in Thailand payroll processing and statutory compliance
- Strong hands-on knowledge of SSF, PND1, PND1 Kor, WCF, and 50 TAWI filings
- High attention to detail with strong analytical skills
- Ability to manage deadlines independently in a remote work environment
- Proficiency in payroll systems and MS Excel
Language Requirements (Preferred)
- Thai: Read, Write, Speak
- English: Read, Write, Speak
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with multinational companies or shared service environments
- Prior experience handling payroll transitions or vendor changes in Thailand
