Role Overview
The Head of Pre-Sales is responsible for leading and managing the pre-sales function at TimeXtender, driving the technical dimensions of the sales process and ensuring strong alignment with the Head of Sales.
Acting as the strategic technical counterpart to Sales leadership, this role provides trusted, outcome-driven engagement throughout the entire deal lifecycle, supporting complex sales cycles, designing tailored solutions and demonstrating how TimeXtender delivers measurable customer value.
The Head of Pre-Sales manages a high-performing team of pre-sales consultants enabling them to provide expert technical guidance, deliver compelling demonstrations and proofs-of-concept, and build scalable processes that support both direct and partner channels. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success, this role is critical to revenue growth, solution integrity, and customer experience, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to delivery.
This role is remote. Applicants must be based and have the unrestricted right to work in Denmark, Sweden, or the UK. Relocation and sponsorship are not currently available for this position.

Pre-Sales Strategy, Planning & Execution
- Develop, lead, and implement scalable pre-sales strategies aligned with TimeXtender’s commercial and go-to-market objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Sales and broader Sales team to understand customer business requirements and craft compelling solution proposals.
- Lead and oversee delivery of demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and customised technical presentations that validate solution fit and drive deal conversion.
- Represent pre-sales in customer engagements as a trusted advisor who deeply understands customer pain points and how TimeXtender addresses them.
- Address customer concerns and objections to support closing deals.
- Coordinate with Proposal Management teams to ensure proposals accurately reflect TimeXtender’s capabilities and value.
Market & Product Insight
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape and TimeXtender product updates to ensure solution positioning remains strong and differentiated.
- Ensure the pre-sales team is fully informed and enabled on product enhancements and roadmap developments.
- Feed insights from customer use cases and market needs into Product and Marketing teams.

- Continuously evaluate and improve pre-sales processes, tools, and enablement assets, including HubSpot updates to optimise deal velocity, efficiency and win rates.
- Maintain accurate records of pre-sales activity and engagement outcomes.
- Establish key performance metrics (e.g., win rate, technical validation time, demo satisfaction) and provide reporting and analysis to leadership.
- Ensure smooth handovers from pre-sales to delivery, maintaining accountability for solution integrity post-sale.
- Drive continuous improvement of collateral, demos, and playbooks to enhance effectiveness and customer experience.
Success in this role will be measured on:
- Solution win rate and deal conversion
- Quality and effectiveness of demos, POCs and technical proposals
