Job Description:
Seeking an Application Developer (Java) to join our team. As a member of a team of skilled software and database development practitioners, you will be responsible for designing, Java coding, code security and quality scanning and remediation, and documentation. Provides long-range requirements for application and system administration and design in conjunction with the system engineer. Designs, creates, and maintains custom Java code using a Struts II framework using an Agile Scrum methodology.

- Perform hands-on development work using Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Coordinate between multiple disciplines (Architects, Business Analysts, Project Managers, other Developers, and Customers) to design, develop, implement, and support complex business solutions
- Work closely with stakeholders to design and document solutions that align with the business needs and consistent with the architectural vision
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts and ability to develop detailed application designs using proven industry patterns and best practices
- Minimum 3 years of experience with unit testing, continuous integration and DevOps methodologies, best practices and tools such as SVN, Ant/Maven, HP ALM, Fortify, and/or JaCoco
- Thorough understanding and experience using relational databases preferably Oracle and/or SQL
- Requires understanding and usage of J2EE technologies like JSP, Servlets, EJBs, and/or JPA
- Experience working with cross-functional project teams using agile or scrum methodology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to present confidently before a large audience
