Job Description
Our client, a consumer credit reporting company, is looking for someone to join their team as a Business Analyst. This role is fully remote!
*This is a 6-month W2 contract with benefits offered*
In this role, you’ll play a critical part in revenue planning, forecasting accuracy, and performance tracking, directly contributing to strategic decision-making. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales and Finance leaders to improve forecasting and goaling models, implement scalable revenue tracking frameworks, and turn complex data into actionable business insights.
What You Will Be Doing
- Build, refine, and maintain forecasting models to support sales and revenue planning cycles
- Develop and operationalize goaling models in partnership with Sales and Finance leadership
- Design and implement revenue tracking methodologies, including delayed revenue recognition
- Create and manage spreadsheets, dashboards, and data systems for ongoing performance monitoring
- Translate business needs into data-driven analyses and insights through cross-functional collaboration
- Analyze trends, identify risks and opportunities, and present clear, actionable recommendations
- Document assumptions, methodologies, and processes to ensure scalability and continuity

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, Statistics, Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in business analysis, forecasting, or financial analytics (internship, contract, or professional experience)
- Strong understanding of economic statistics, forecasting principles, and revenue analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets; experience with analytics tools such as SQL, R, Python, or Tableau is a plus
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences
