Job Description


Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Associate Electrical Test Engineer to join an Aerospace Telecom partner located in Midland, Texas through 100% onsite work. The Associate Electrical Test Engineer will support the development, execution, and documentation of electrical test procedures to ensure product quality and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product design teams and subsystem lead engineers to define test requirements
  • Develop, document, and mature test plans, test procedures, and testing processes
  • Execute test procedures and ensure adherence to engineering and industry standards
  • Train technical personnel and provide hands‑on technical support as needed
  • Implement and optimize test automation methods and tools
  • Prepare and present detailed test reports for engineering leadership
  • Serve as a subject‑matter resource on test methodologies and equipment

Qualifications:

  • 0–2+ years of engineering or laboratory testing experience
  • Knowledge of electrical test equipment (power supplies, DMMs, source meters)
  • Familiarity with battery systems, PV solar cells, and environmental/vibration testing
  • Experience using laboratory software such as LabView, MATLAB, ANSYS, or similar
  • Understanding of test automation practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or Computer Engineering– OR an Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering + 2 years of related experience
  • Strong communication skills; must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

Compensation:

  • Salary Range: $85,000/ year depending on experience
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays
  • Additional Benefits: Relocation assistance (10K), RSUs upon hire, monthly meal/ expense Stipend (~$1000/ month), and Unlimited PTO (after 90 days)
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a background check
  • Location: 100% onsite in Midland, TX
