About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Cloud Platform / Infrastructure Engineer to help design, build, and support a secure, scalable Azure cloud platform used by critical public-facing systems.

This role is focused on cloud infrastructure, automation, security, and deployment pipelines — making sure applications are running on a solid, repeatable, and compliant foundation. You’ll work closely with application, integration, and security teams to help them ship faster without cutting corners.

This is a hands-on senior role with real ownership over how the cloud platform is built and operated.

What You’ll Be Doing

Build & Own Azure Infrastructure

• Design and implement Azure infrastructure to support modern, API-driven applications
• Support multiple environments (dev, test, pre-prod, prod)
• Ensure infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient
• Follow enterprise cloud standards and shared platform patterns

Infrastructure as Code

• Build and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Bicep / ARM or similar)
• Create reusable, version-controlled, and environment-aware templates
• Improve shared IaC modules so teams can deploy consistently

Networking & Security

• Design and manage Azure networking (VNets, subnets, NSGs, private endpoints)
• Implement secure connectivity for internal and external integrations
• Apply Azure security best practices (managed identities, RBAC, Key Vault)
• Support compliance and access-control requirements

CI/CD & Automation

• Build and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments
• Enable automated, repeatable releases across environments
• Integrate validation and security checks into deployment workflows
• Partner with development teams to improve release processes

Support & Collaboration

• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and deployment issues
• Work closely with application and QA teams to support testing and releases
• Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and operational best practices
• Support incident response and recovery when needed

What We’re Looking For

Required

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, ARM, or similar)

• Solid understanding of Azure networking and security
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps
• Comfortable working in Agile or iterative environments

• Familiarity with Azure monitoring and logging tools
