Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Senior RPA Business Analyst with over 10 years of experience to lead our automation initiatives. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex business processes and technical automation solutions, serving as a strategic advisor to stakeholders and a mentor to junior analysts.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Discovery & Assessment: Conduct high-level assessments to identify, quantify, and prioritize automation candidates based on ROI, complexity, and strategic value.
- Detailed Documentation: Author comprehensive Process Definition Documents (PDD) and collaborate with architects on Solution Design Documents (SDD) to ensure clear technical translation.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact between business units and the RPA development team, facilitating workshops and managing expectations at the executive level.
- Strategic Re-engineering: Apply Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to optimize "As-Is" processes into streamlined "To-Be" automated workflows.
- UAT & Deployment: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and manage the change management process to ensure smooth adoption of new digital workers.
- Mentorship: Supervise and guide junior business analysts, ensuring consistency in documentation and methodology across the RPA Center of Excellence (CoE).
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in business analysis, with at least 5+ years dedicated specifically to RPA projects (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism).
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of the RPA software development life cycle (SDLC) and familiarity with AI/ML integration in automation.
- Analytical Tools: Proficiency in process mapping tools like MS Visio or Lucidchart, and advanced data analysis using Excel.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
- Certifications: Preference for IIBA CBAP or professional certifications from major RPA vendors.
