Key Responsibilities

  • Process Discovery & Assessment: Conduct high-level assessments to identify, quantify, and prioritize automation candidates based on ROI, complexity, and strategic value.
  • Detailed Documentation: Author comprehensive Process Definition Documents (PDD) and collaborate with architects on Solution Design Documents (SDD) to ensure clear technical translation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact between business units and the RPA development team, facilitating workshops and managing expectations at the executive level.
  • Strategic Re-engineering: Apply Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to optimize "As-Is" processes into streamlined "To-Be" automated workflows.
  • UAT & Deployment: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and manage the change management process to ensure smooth adoption of new digital workers.
  • Mentorship: Supervise and guide junior business analysts, ensuring consistency in documentation and methodology across the RPA Center of Excellence (CoE).

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in business analysis, with at least 5+ years dedicated specifically to RPA projects (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism).
  • Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of the RPA software development life cycle (SDLC) and familiarity with AI/ML integration in automation.
  • Analytical Tools: Proficiency in process mapping tools like MS Visio or Lucidchart, and advanced data analysis using Excel.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Preference for IIBA CBAP or professional certifications from major RPA vendors.

Soft Skills

  • Exceptional storytelling ability to present complex data-driven insights to senior leadership.
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and manage cross-departmental conflicts.
