The Institute of Project Management (IPM) is a fast-growing, global education and certification business serving over 40,000 professionals worldwide. We work with organisations across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond to raise the standard of project management through education, certification, and community. IPM operates at the intersection of education, technology, and professional services - and we’re now entering a performance-driven growth phase. This role will work closely with the founder and leadership team to help scale IPM’s global reach, pipeline, and revenue. 

 

The Role: 

We’re hiring a Growth Marketing Manager to take ownership of IPM’s marketing execution and turn it into a predictable, performance-driven growth engine. This is not a brand-only or strategy-only role. It is a hands-on leadership role with clear accountability for outcomes. You will be responsible for both doing the work and directing others. If growth stalls, leads drop, or funnels underperform - you own the fix. IPM is not looking for incremental optimisation. We’re looking for someone who can move fast, prioritise hard, and build systems that scale. We see this role growing and becoming a Head of Growth Marketing into the future.

 

What You'll Own: 

  • Ownership of marketing strategy as it relates to revenue growth, pipeline, and conversion 
  • Hands-on performance marketing across SEO, paid acquisition, funnels, and CRO 
  • Paid channels (Google, Meta, LinkedIn) with clear ROI accountability 
  • SEO prioritisation and execution (with existing SEO resources) 
  • Funnel design, landing pages, and conversion optimisation 
  • Analytics, attribution, dashboards, and weekly reporting 
  • Lead quality, CAC, and pipeline contribution 
  • Lean leadership of the marketing team (hands-on + direction) 

 

What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months): 

  • Marketing is clearly structured, prioritised, and accountable 
  • Lead volume and quality increase materially across core markets 
  • Paid acquisition becomes measurable, scalable, and controlled 
  • SEO performance improves with clear execution focus 
  • Funnels are simplified and conversion rates improve 
  • The marketing team is aligned behind clear goals and metrics 
  • The founder no longer needs to drive or chase marketing execution 

 

Who This Role is For: 

You are: 

  • A performance-first marketer who thinks in numbers and funnels 
  • Comfortable owning results, not just activity 
  • Confident inheriting a real, imperfect marketing setup and improving it 
  • Data-literate and commercially minded 
  • Comfortable leading people and making hard prioritisation decisions 

 

You are not looking for: 

  • A brand-custodian role 
  • A slow, consensus-driven environment 
  • A role without real accountability 

 

Requirements: 

  • Proven experience in growth or performance marketing 
  • Strong background in SEO and paid acquisition 
  • Experience scaling funnels and improving conversion 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Clear communication and ownership mindset 

 

Nice to have: 

  • B2B, education, or SaaS experience 
  • Multi-market or international experience
