Job Description
Title: Lead Test Engineer
Location: Hyderabad India
Type: 6 month contract to hire
Setting: Fully remote for contract period, then hybrid in Hyderabad
Schedule: Mon-Fri 2pm-10pm IST
Compensation: approx. $10-13/hr USD (some flex for those more experienced/etc)
Start Date: ASAP (no more than 30 day notice period to be considered)
Interview Process: 2-3 rounds, virtual (MS Teams)

Required Skills & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (Master’s preferred)
- Experience: 8+ years in software or quality engineering with deep expertise in automated and integration testing for distributed systems
- Proven success leading quality efforts within Agile/Scrum squads
- Demonstrated experience working within a regulated QMS (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820) and maintaining verification & validation documentation
- Expert knowledge of CI/CD, version control, and DevOps tooling
- Experience with cloud platforms and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Hands‑on practice in TDD and BDD
- Demonstrated ability to define and present quality metrics to leadership
