We are looking for a Manager, Employee Relations to lead and support a high-performing team in delivering best-in-class employee lifecycle and advisory services. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on management, ensuring consistent operational excellence across global HR practices, complex employee relations cases, and sensitive terminations. You will partner with Operations, HR, and client teams to improve processes, maintain compliance, and enhance employee experiences. The position provides the opportunity to influence global HR strategies, mentor team members, and drive initiatives that elevate organizational culture and operational effectiveness in a fast-paced, asynchronous work environment. Accountabilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Employee Lifecycle Specialists, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance guidance.
  • Oversee complex voluntary and involuntary terminations across multiple countries, ensuring compliance and sensitivity.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations inquiries, delivering expert guidance and support to clients and internal teams.
  • Partner with Operations and HR teams to ensure seamless collaboration and high-quality outcomes for clients and employees.
  • Implement and maintain consistent employee relations practices, including progressive discipline, workplace investigations, and compliance with local employment laws.
  • Provide operational support on cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic HR goals.
  • Monitor team performance, ensuring accountability, high-quality service, and adherence to established standards and policies.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Human Resources, Operations, or Employee Relations roles, including experience as a People Manager.
  • Advanced knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, performance management, and local employment laws across multiple countries.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex employee lifecycle cases, including involuntary exits and sensitive situations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage, influence, and develop culturally diverse teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, analytical, and written communication skills with high emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to work effectively in dynamic, asynchronous, and fast-changing environments.
  • Experience in start-up or globally distributed organizations is highly desirable.
