Pay rate: $100/hr on W2(no benefits)
Overview
We’re seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to support and modernize enterprise DevSecOps platforms. This role focuses on automation, reliability, and AI-enabled DevSecOps practices while guiding teams toward fully automated, code-driven infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Support and enhance DevSecOps tools including GitLab, JIRA, Nexus, and related platforms
- Automate deployments, upgrades, and maintenance using IaC and GitOps
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and SRE best practices
- Partner with engineering, operations, and security teams to improve pipelines and standards
- Modernize legacy services into automated CI/CD workflows
- Mentor teams on DevSecOps and reliability best practices

Required Qualifications
- AWS experience and strong cloud fundamentals
- Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation or similar)
- CI/CD pipeline development (GitLab and/or Jenkins)
- API automation using Python, Shell, or similar
- JIRA administration
- Agile SDLC experience and strong troubleshooting skills
AI & Automation (Must-Have)
- Experience with AIOps (anomaly detection, predictive alerting, noise reduction)
- Integrating AI/ML into DevSecOps workflows (code review, incident triage, observability)
- Hands-on use of AI-enabled observability tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk)
- Familiarity with AI-assisted GitLab features
- Ability to balance rule-based vs. AI-driven automation
