Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior Social Media Manager to lead social strategy and execution across a portfolio of clients. This role is equal parts big-picture thinker and roll-up-your-sleeves doer. You’ll set direction, manage day-to-day social programs, and ensure our clients’ brands show up consistently, creatively, and effectively across platforms.
As a Social Media Manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies, platform creative best practices, social media trends, best practices, and cross platform opportunities. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our client’s company creatively.
Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of responsiveness, consistency and customer engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Lead social media strategy for multiple client accounts across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Google Business Profile, and emerging channels)
- Maintain social media communications protocol for clients
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor and respond to customer reviews
- Perform research on benchmark trends and audience preferences, ongoing creation of a monthly communications calendar
- Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
- Design, implement, and analyze social media test scenarios to optimize performance
- Set specific objectives per channel, month over month
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure brand consistency
- Collaborate with each client’s lead to curate content for social, standardizing and documenting the process
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
- Monitor trends, platform updates, and best practices, and proactively apply them to client work
- Analyze performance, extract insights, and present clear recommendations to clients
- Weekly one-on-one with supervisor
- Bi-weekly team collaboration meeting to enable cross-department thought share, trends, and industry insights

Requirements:
- 5-8+ years of social media experience, ideally in an agency setting
- Proven experience managing multiple brands and industries at once
- Reliable cell phone and internet service
- Fluent in the Microsoft Office suite
- Google Workspace fluent
- Canva fluent
- Proactive, planned, detailed and well organized work style
- Proven work experience as a professional Social Media Manager
- Hands-on experience in content management
- Knowledge of SEO as it relates to social media platforms and how that impacts other marketing platforms
- Social copywriting skills
- Knowledge of online marketing channels including, but not limited to: Meta (Facebook, Instagram), YouTube, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile
- Confident communicator who can lead conversations with clients
- Analytical and multitasking skills - Able to review channel performance data, provide strategic recommendations
- Comfort with working remotely and collaborating with distributed teams
