Develop and manage keyword research, topic clustering, and search intent mapping.
Collaborate with Content Marketers to guide structure, formatting, and optimization for both SEO and GEO.
Implement GEO best practices to improve visibility in AI-generated answers and summaries.
Design and maintain internal linking strategies that reinforce topical authority and entity relationships.
Manage technical SEO fundamentals including crawlability, indexing, site structure, and performance.
Implement and maintain structured data and schema where appropriate.
Monitor rankings, traffic, citations, and AI-answer visibility, reporting insights to leadership.
Stay current with changes in search algorithms, AI retrieval systems, and discovery trends.

Job Title: SEO & GEO Specialist – Search, Discoverability & AI Visibility

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: ₹20,000 – ₹40,000 per month (based on experience)

Working Hours: 6:30 PM – 3:30 AM Indian Standard Time (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time)

Job Description:

As an SEO & GEO Specialist at Dozti, you will be responsible for ensuring our content, services, and expertise are discoverable across both traditional search engines and AI-powered answer engines (such as ChatGPT, Google SGE, Perplexity, and similar platforms).

This role is ideal for a technically minded marketer who understands how search engines, large language models, and entity-based indexing work. You will not be focused on writing content yourself, but on shaping how content is structured, optimized, connected, and surfaced across the modern discovery ecosystem.


Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute Dozti’s SEO strategy across websites, service pages, and long-form content.
  • Develop and manage keyword research, topic clustering, and search intent mapping.
  • Collaborate with Content Marketers to guide structure, formatting, and optimization for both SEO and GEO.
  • Implement GEO best practices to improve visibility in AI-generated answers and summaries.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in SEO, search strategy, or organic growth roles.
  • Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO principles.
  • Experience working with keyword research tools and SEO analytics platforms.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into clear recommendations.
  • Familiarity with how AI models consume, summarize, and cite content.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with content and engineering teams.
  • Ability to work independently and own discoverability outcomes.


Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience optimizing content for AI answer engines (GEO).
  • Familiarity with schema markup, entity-based SEO, and knowledge graphs.
  • Experience with tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar.
  • Understanding of B2B or professional services search behavior.
