Our client is a fast-growing company in the pet products industry. They are looking to expand their marketing team and need an experienced Email Marketing Manager to lead their email and SMS marketing efforts, optimizing customer retention and driving revenue growth.
About the Role
The Email Specialist / Email Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing email and SMS marketing campaigns across multiple brands. This is an opportunity to take full ownership of a high-impact channel and significantly contribute to the company’s growth.
Responsibilities
- Build and optimize email flow infrastructure from scratch, including welcome series, abandoned cart, and post-purchase emails.
- Run A/B tests to optimize subject lines, content, and design.
- Develop segmentation strategies based on customer behavior and engagement.
- Create engaging email campaigns and newsletters, aligned with product launches and promotions.
- Analyze email performance (open rates, conversion rates, etc.) and provide insights for optimization.
- Manage SMS campaigns and flows, ensuring alignment with email strategies.
- Monitor list health and email deliverability metrics.
- Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
- Provide regular performance reports with actionable insights.

Requirements
- Must-haves
- 3-5 years of experience in email marketing or email strategy.
- Proven track record of optimizing email and SMS marketing for revenue growth.
- Expertise in email marketing platforms (Klaviyo preferred, Mailchimp or Omnisend also acceptable).
- Advanced knowledge of A/B testing and email performance metrics.
- Experience in e-commerce and direct-to-consumer marketing.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Nice to have
- Experience with subscription-based or recurring revenue models.
- Knowledge of the pet products industry.
- Experience with email creative design (Canva, Photoshop).
