Be in IT is a recruitment company, specialised in sourcing Specialists from the information technology world. Currently, for our client, we are looking for someone in the position: Lead Blockchain Developer.

- Long-term collaboration opportunity with a Polish IT and softwarehouse company that delivers projects to its client, a large foreign financial and loan organization.
- Working on a project related to the development of a platform for trading binary options on cryptocurrencies.
- Leading an engineering team consisting of backend development, bringing business and trading strategy requirements to the engineering team, ensuring delivery of the agreed requirements.
- The role focuses on technical leadership of the project and the team and also active coding.
- Stack and concepts: Blockchain, Solidity (+ Forge framework), Subgraph, Ethers.js, TypeScript (for backend), smart contracts, backend development, DeFi ecosystem, Redis, Jest.
- Proposing development plans around the latest efficiency and security upgrades.
- Ensure security standards across all platform operations, including user-facing applications, backend, smart contract codebase, and product database.
- Collaboration with a globally distributed international team working remotely.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in software development (general).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a blockchain project.
- Currently engaged in a blockchain project or, if the project has just ended, having worked continuously in blockchain projects for the past two years without any breaks.
- Very good proficiency in Solidity and the Forge framework (must have).
- Good proficiency in Subgraph, Ethers.js, TypeScript.
- Interpersonal skills - communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities necessary for leading a team.
- Extensive knowledge of blockchain technology, smart contracts.
- Proficiency in English at level B2+ or C1.
- Having a maximum one-month notice period, effective at the end of the month.
- Ability to start cooperation/transition part-time ASAP, before transitioning to full-time, is highly desirable.
- Leadership/tech lead experience is welcome.
- Long-term collaboration under a B2B contract with remuneration ranging 70-80 dollars net/hour.
- Fully remote collaboration in European time zones, with the possibility to adjust working hours to one's country's time zone.
- Efficient and fast recruitment process - two online meetings, technical, each lasting about an hour.
- Working on own laptop.
