Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled VMware Cloud Engineer to join our infrastructure team on a full-time contract basis. You will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and scaling our virtualized environments and cloud infrastructure. As a remote collaborator for a US-based client, you must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, participating in daily stand-ups, and delivering high-quality technical solutions with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter), vSAN, and NSX environments.
- Cloud Integration: Support hybrid cloud operations and migrations (VMware Cloud on AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts using PowerCLI, Python, or Terraform to streamline provisioning and lifecycle management.
- Performance Tuning: Monitor system health using vRealize Operations (vROps) and Log Insight to proactively resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Networking & Security: Configure and manage virtual distributed switches (vDS), firewalls (NSX-T), and security groups.
- Disaster Recovery: Maintain and test backup/recovery strategies using Site Recovery Manager (SRM) or Veeam.
- Collaboration: Participate in US-based technical meetings, providing clear updates and documentation in English.
Required Qualifications
