Senior Data Engineer

This is a hands-on role for a Senior Data Engineer who thrives on building, optimising and owning production-grade data infrastructure. Clear documentation and strong engineering is valued on this team.

You’ll:

• design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Spark, working across Snowflake and AWS.

• strengthen CI/CD practices, improve observability, and ensure systems are reliable, performant and cost-efficient.
• collaborate closely with technical leads to solve large-scale data challenges, onboard new datasets, and evolve privacy-conscious data methodologies.
• The team is moving from Snowflake to Spark so you will do your own DevOps as they move to self-deployed systems.
• be comfortable turning ambiguity into structured execution and contributing meaningfully to architectural discussions.

We’re looking for deep experience in distributed data systems, strong SQL and warehousing expertise, and confidence operating in containerised, cloud-native environments (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS).

This is an opportunity to build and scale intelligent data infrastructure with real commercial impact.

This role can be based in Ireland or the UK and is fully-remote.

Salary: €£100-120k, bonus and full benefits
