- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds, Wireshark, or Splunk; identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Perform traffic analysis, vulnerability assessments, and incident response in compliance with DISA STIGs and NIST frameworks.
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto), and VPNs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams via secure remote tools (e.g., SIPRNet, JWICS equivalents).
- Document configurations, generate reports, and support audits for Secret-cleared environments.
- Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support.

Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher); must be eligible for remote classified work.
- 3+ years as a Network Analyst or similar in defense/government sectors.
- CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or Security+ certification (required).
- Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP/OSPF, ACLs, and SIEM tools.
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) a plus.
- Excellent communication for remote stakeholder interactions.
- Bachelor's in IT/Computer Science preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
