About The Role

We are seeking a talented WordPress Developer to join our dedicated development team working on a groundbreaking new corporate website for our esteemed client. This role involves creating a modern, flexible, and high-performance digital platform that transcends traditional WordPress builds. The project will utilize either a headless or traditional WordPress architecture, emphasizing a component-based page builder, clean coding practices, and a polished, scalable design system.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with designers and project stakeholders to translate visual concepts into functional, responsive, and accessible websites. You will be responsible for developing custom themes and plugins, ensuring optimal performance, security, and SEO standards are met. Qualifications

The successful candidate must demonstrate proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a portfolio showcasing sophisticated, custom-built WordPress sites. Strong full-stack skills are essential, including proficiency in PHP, modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3/Sass. Experience in building custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch, following WordPress coding standards, is required.

Hands-on experience with component-based development, potentially using modern front-end frameworks such as React or Vue, especially within a headless setup, is highly desirable. A commitment to web accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design principles is vital. Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Gulp, and version control systems such as Git is also necessary. The role requires excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, and fluency in English. Candidates should be located in Latin America to ensure seamless collaboration.

Responsibilities
