We are seeking a Software Tester to support testing of web-based applications in a remote environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with manual testing, some exposure to test automation, and is eligible to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. This role focuses on ensuring application quality, reliability, and usability across ongoing software development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web-based applications
- Perform manual testing and contribute to automated testing efforts where appropriate
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other team members to understand requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and impact assessment
- Perform regression testing to validate fixes and ensure existing functionality remains stable
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, and reviews
- Support compliance with government security and quality standards, including Public Trust requirements
- Continuously improve testing processes, documentation, and overall QA practices

- Experience utilizing selenium and other tools for automation
- Experience with manual testing, with some exposure to test automation
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum development environments
- Ability to write clear, concise defect reports and communicate effectively with remote team members
- US citizenship with residency in the Lower 48 States
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fully remote environment
