About the Role
We’re hiring a Product Designer to own end-to-end experiences across our core shopping tools and membership/concierge features. You’ll design journeys that surface the right information at the right time, help users feel confident in what they buy, and remove friction from key flows.
You’ll work across web, app, and browser extension with a globally distributed, cross-functional team. This role is a fit if you enjoy shipping iteratively in a fast-paced environment, balancing UX quality with imperfect inputs and constraints, and you’ve shipped in early- or growth-stage companies where ambiguity is the norm.
What You’ll Do
End-to-end Product Design
- Own end-to-end design discovery and execution across core ModeSens experiences on web and app - including search, product detail surfaces, price/stock transparency, comparison tools, membership flows, and concierge touchpoints.
- Design flows that drive core outcomes while keeping the experience clear and delightful.
- Translate product strategy into wireframes, prototypes, and final designs that are delightful to users and seamless for devs
- Deliver high-quality design specs, handle design QA during implementation, and iterate based on user feedback
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with PMs and engineers, serving as a design bridge between team vision and end users
- Work with Operations and Customer Support to incorporate real-world constraints into UX design.
Design Systems & Patterns

- Contribute to scalable design patterns across web, app, and extension surfaces.
- Help evolve ModeSens’ design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and design quality.
User Research & Testing
- Participate in or lead usability testing, interviews, and concept validation efforts.
- Use both qualitative research and quantitative signals to inform your designs.
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of product design experience in consumer tech; e-commerce or marketplace experience is a plus.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong product thinking, problem-solving, and high-quality design execution.
- Strong end-to-end design skills: user flows, interaction design, UI design, and prototyping. Excellent interaction and visual design skills with a polished, modern aesthetic
- Experience designing complex consumer journeys for multiple surfaces (web + app; extension experience is a plus.
- Comfortable using both quantitative metrics and qualitative insights to guide design decisions. Familiarity with experimentation / A/B testing.
- Strong grasp of design systems, UX patterns, responsive layout, and Figma workflows
- Strong communicator with the ability to articulate design rationale clearly to stakeholders
- Experience working in an early or growth-stage company, where you balance speed and quality. At ModeSens, we value fast-paced startup mindset - scrappy, iterative, and not afraid of ambiguity

- Experience working with fashion, luxury, or multi-brand marketplaces
- Experience running end-to-end user research or usability tests independently
- Fluency in Mandarin a plus
