Job Description
The Senior Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing both long-term digital marketing campaigns and short-term advertising campaigns across various digital platforms. This person will own paid (SEM/SEO, social), as well as the destinationpet.com UX for centers and clinics. They will work as part of a broader marketing team to promote Destination Pet’s brands and services. Destination Pets owns and operates 140+ pet care centers (centers offer a mix of boarding, daycare, grooming, training and vet) throughout the US. These centers were all purchased from local owners that were ready to pass the baton. Destination Pet keeps the local brand and great packmates (i.e., associates), but uses national muscle to drive the local pet services forward. Each brand has its own unique landing page on the Destination Pet website that details what makes them special. But there is room for improvement in terms of calling out in a bigger way their unique RTBs (reasons to believe) and ensuring that we’re continually optimizing copy that will contribute to a more significant show-up as we shift from SEO to GEO.
This role serves as a general manager within the marketing team, ensuring all digital marketing efforts are cohesive and executed in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong experience web UX, SEO and social media marketing. A key partner will be a senior marketing manager who owns the paid media and CRM strategy. We are a lean team. As such, each marketing professional wears a secondary hat as a local “DMM” (digital marketing manager) responsible for being the main point of contact for around 10 pet care centers (typically broken out by districts), facilitating incremental asks within the team as needed.

· Own the paid media strategy and website UX (including some day-to-day maintenance/updates)
· Act as a “general manager” and leader within the marketing organization to ensure plans are developed cohesively and executed in close collaboration with key cross-functional stakeholders (analytics, social, creative, etc.) to optimize campaigns.
· Lead web UX strategy and content development, as well as SEO driving to the site
· Advance Company efforts to show up more significantly as we transition from SEO to GEO, continuing to evolve brand pages to optimize positioning in search

· Build brand awareness – in collaboration with partners across the organization
· Lead digital efforts for customer acquisition and retention, optimizing campaigns for engagement, conversion, and loyalty customer acquisition & retention
· Report and provide insights/recommendations on performance analytics and results

REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
· 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record in SEO, paid media, social media, and website UX
· A passion for site optimization, removing consumer friction and ensuring we are truly capturing what makes each center special on their landing pages
· Demonstrated success advancing marketing strategy while also executing day-to-day work
· Strong expertise in A/B testing, customer acquisition, and brand awareness strategies
· High proficiency with analytical platforms such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics
· Familiarity with HTML/CSS and website content management systems (CMS) like Adobe Experience in multi-location business marketing (e.g., franchises, service-based businesses like pet care or healthcare) preferred.
· Passionate about pets and ensuring their pet parents have peace of mind that their pet is healthy, happy and safe while in our care!
