Senior Infrastructure Engineer (SaaS)

Senior Infrastructure Engineer | Fully Remote (UK/EU) | Up to £90k

A high growth SaaS company I’m partnering with operates in the HR technology space. Their platform supports in house recruitment teams at scale, and they’ve already achieved strong product market fit with a mature, loyal customer base.

As they continue to grow, infrastructure reliability, performance, and observability have become central to their next phase. They’re now looking to hire a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to strengthen their internal platform capability and take real ownership of production resilience.

This is a senior individual contributor position within a deliberately small infrastructure team. You’d operate with genuine autonomy, own problems end-to-end, and play a key role in improving system reliability across a scaling SaaS environment

What you’ll do

• Improve monitoring, alerting, and observability across infrastructure and application layers
• Diagnose and reduce production instability, including performance bottlenecks and load-related issues
• Strengthen infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and overall platform efficiency
• Drive best practices across security, compliance, documentation, and incident response

What you’ll need

• 4+ years’ experience in Infrastructure, DevOps, Platform, or SRE roles within a production SaaS environment
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform/OpenTofu)
• Proven experience improving monitoring and alerting (ideally Datadog or similar)
• Experience participating in on-call rotations and leading incident response
