Senior Information Security Engineer

Our client, located in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role focuses on protecting enterprise systems and cloud environments through proactive monitoring, threat detection, and incident response.

Position Details

• Fully Remote within the United States
• 6+ month contract
• Not open to Corp-to-Corp or subvendors

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in information security, security engineering, or cloud security
• Strong hands-on experience securing cloud-based environments
• Proven experience with security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response platforms
• Experience working with identity and access management (IAM) concepts and controls
• Experience supporting endpoint protection and security controls across enterprise systems
• Familiarity with modern security operations tools and security telemetry platforms

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, detect, and respond to security threats and incidents across enterprise systems
• Investigate alerts, analyze security events, and lead incident response activities
• Manage and support endpoint security and protection across user devices and infrastructure
• Configure, maintain, and optimize enterprise security tooling and monitoring platforms
• Support identity and access security initiatives, including user, device, and authentication controls
• Partner with infrastructure, cloud, and IT teams to strengthen overall security posture
