VP of Marketing
Our client is seeking a hands-on VP- of Marketing to strategize, architect and run a modern B2B marketing engine that dramatically amplifies brand awareness, market voice, and market participation among US banks, credit unions, and financial institutions. This individual will own the end-to-end marketing strategy and execution including but not limited to; integrating brand, demand generation, events, PR/analyst relations, and influencer programs. Design GTM to fuel pipeline, accelerate sales velocity, and position GLF as the trusted partner for banking M&A and digital transformation.
Responsibilities
• Strategy & Planning: Define US marketing strategy, audience segmentation, positioning, and annual operating plan aligned to revenue targets.
• Brand, Messaging & Content: Own brand narrative and message architecture; lead editorial calendar showcasing outcomes and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in B2B online and offline marketing with minimum 5+ years of leading focused marketing teams for financial services/fintech or banking technology companies.
• Demonstrated success scaling brand awareness and event participation that converts into executive meetings and pipeline.
• Considerable familiarity with US banking associations, conferences, and media/analyst landscape, with significant industry connects that can influence branding objectives
• Expertise in demand gen and marketing operations on platforms such as Zoho, hubspot and the like.
• Exceptional storytelling, high creativity, executive presence, and stakeholder management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Communications/Business (Masters preferred)
This is a direct-hire, 100% remote opportunity that will require up to 30% travel. Compensation package includes base salary + benefits and bonus potential. This role is very narrowly focused in Fintech, so please apply ONLY if you have had significant prior experience in that industry.
