Senior QA Automation Engineer (Java) - EU Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer (Java) to join their engineering team. This is a fully remote role open to candidates located anywhere within the EU. You’ll be working in a security‑focused environment where quality, reliability, and cryptographic integrity are paramount.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Java, TestNG, Selenium, Appium, and REST Assured

• Build and execute performance tests using JMeter

• Validate API, web, and mobile application functionality in a security‑sensitive environment

•Collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to ensure end‑to‑end test coverage

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins

• Document test plans, results, and processes in Jira and Confluence

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and tooling

Required Technical Skills

Automation & QA

• Strong hands‑on experience with Java‑based automation

• Test frameworks: TestNG, Selenium, Appium

• API testing with REST Assured

• Performance testing with JMeter

• CI/CD: Jenkins

• Agile tooling: Jira, Confluence

Security & Cryptography (Mandatory)

Candidates must have practical experience with:

• Cryptography: AES, RSA, TLS

• Mobile client attestation:

• Android DVS

• SafetyNet / Play Integrity

• Apple Device Attestation

• Secure Enclave

• Warden Supreme

• Security & Identity Management

• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes

Language Requirements

• German: B2+/C1

• English: B2+
