Job Description


Duration: 6+ Months

Location: MN-Oak Park Heights, 100% Remote

Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a Marketing Automation Specialist/Email Specialist, you will join Turnberry's Salesforce practice. Turnberry's Salesforce practice encompasses strategic planning, full-scale implementation and rollout, managed services.

Responsibilities

  • Campaign Planning and Execution
    • Review campaign briefs and input materials with a critical eye, offering recommendations based on marketing automation best practices and a focus on customer experience
    • Identify and use existing email templates to align with campaign goals and content
    • Modify copy and destination URLs to ensure clarity, relevance, and alignment with user intent
  • Email Development and QA
    • Copy editing to align with email best practices as necessary
    • Build marketing emails using platform tools in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
    • Route emails to stakeholders for review and incorporate feedback
    • Write and troubleshoot varying degrees of Ampscript difficulty for dynamic content
    • Conduct thorough QA of emails, including rendering tests, link validation, and personalization
  • Deployment and Data Management
    • Set up and schedule email deployments and journeys, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
    • Create simple filtered data extensions as needed to support targeted campaigns
  • Performance Analysis
    • Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics (e.g., deliverability, click-through rates, conversions)
    • Provide insights and recommendations for optimization based on campaign results
Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in marketing automation using Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Strong proficiency in Ampscript, completing an Ampscript assessment will be required
  • Strong project management experience, communicating expectations and requirements for execution
  • Proven ability to apply email best practices to improve engagement and conversion metrics
  • Customer-experience focus to determine the best strategy for execution
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Experience with customer journey mapping and analytics tools
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make actionable recommendations
  • Excellent communication, time management, and collaboration skills
  • Understanding of email deliverability and compliance best practices
  • Exposure to HTML/CSS for light email formatting
  • Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and communication
  • Reliable and trustworthy, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

The salary range for this role is $90,000 to $130,000 or the hourly equivalent.
