Job Description
Talent Acquisition Lead - SaaS AI Scale Up
Location: Fully Remote
Salary: £90,000 - £100,000
Hawkwood are delighted to be partnering with a Series C AI Scale Up operating at the forefront of AI automation. This business has built a category-defining B2B SaaS product and is now scaling globally as it moves toward its next phase of growth.
With continued global growth planned over the next 12 to 24 months, our client is hiring permanent Senior Talent Partners to support the next phase of organisational scale. These hires will align to either Technical or Non-Technical functions and will focus on building capability in line with projected headcount growth and evolving business needs.
The role is suited to Talent professionals who have operated in high-growth B2B SaaS or AI environments and have experience supporting teams through structured scale, from post-Series C build through to later-stage maturity.
What can you expect to be doing?
• Act as a strategic Talent Partner to senior leadership across GTM, Product, Engineering and Corporate functions, influencing org design, workforce planning and long-term capability needs
• Lead end-to-end hiring for complex, high-impact roles, ensuring quality, rigour and long-term value creation

• Future-proof hiring by identifying the skills and profiles required for Series D and E growth, not just immediate hiring demand
• Evolve and optimise existing hiring frameworks - refining scorecards, interview design, assessment methodology and calibration practices to continuously raise the bar
• Lead Talent transformation initiatives focused on scaling Talent Operations, improving workflows, embedding automation and AI tooling, and enhancing data visibility
• Use data and market insight to influence decision making - tracking funnel performance, quality of hire indicators and market trends to improve outcomes
• Partner with senior stakeholders to challenge briefs, recalibrate expectations and embed a high-performance hiring culture
• Build proactive, high-calibre talent pipelines across competitive global markets, ensuring hiring is planned rather than reactive
• Champion a best-in-class candidate experience while ensuring processes are scalable, efficient and commercially aligned
You will be a good fit if you have:
• Significant in-house Talent experience within a B2B SaaS, AI or product-led scale-up environment
• Experience supporting organisations through rapid scaling, ideally across Series C to D or D to E growth phases
• A track record of transforming or significantly optimising Talent Operations, not just delivering within existing frameworks

• Experience partnering with senior leaders to shape hiring strategy, team design and long-term workforce planning
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to align hiring decisions to business growth milestones
• Confidence operating at senior stakeholder level, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively
• A hands-on mindset - comfortable balancing strategic project ownership with high-quality delivery
This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the next evolution of a high-growth AI business. If you are motivated by building future-ready teams and redefining how Talent operates in a scaling environment, this role offers genuine ownership and visibility at a critical stage of growth.
