About The Role

We are seeking a versatile and highly skilled WordPress Developer to join our team on a part-time basis. This remote role offers the flexibility to work approximately 25-30 hours per week, making it ideal for professionals seeking a balanced workload while contributing to impactful web projects. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting our ongoing website design and development needs, including building new web pages, creating wireframes for innovative concepts, and developing complex custom pages that require both strong design sense and backend development expertise. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of creative talent, technical proficiency, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and deliver high-quality results within deadlines.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design capabilities, including website layouts and wireframes. Expert-level experience in building and customizing WordPress sites—covering themes, templates, and plugins—is essential. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end practices is required, along with the ability to develop complex, multi-section WordPress pages from concept to deployment. Familiarity with PHP for deeper customization, as well as experience working with page builders such as Elementor, Divi, or Gutenberg, is preferred. Candidates should also have a good understanding of accessibility standards, usability testing, and visual design principles, including layout, typography, and brand consistency. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

As a WordPress Developer at SupportFinity™, your primary responsibilities will include designing high-quality, visually engaging web pages that align with brand standards and client expectations. You will create wireframes, mockups, and layout concepts for new pages and microsites, ensuring all designs are responsive and mobile-first. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will refine requirements and translate concepts into actionable designs and functionalities. You will build and customize WordPress pages, templates, and theme components, developing complex pages that may involve custom layouts, dynamic components, or backend logic. Optimizing site performance, accessibility, and usability will be a key focus, along with troubleshooting and resolving front-end and WordPress-related technical issues. Additionally, you will implement backend features such as API integrations, custom fields (ACF), and plugin configurations, maintaining clean, well-documented code throughout the development process. Flexibility to handle 5-10 page build requests per month and adapt to evolving project needs is essential.

Benefits

SupportFinity™ offers a competitive pay range of $45.00 to $50.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and skills. As a remote position, it provides the flexibility to work from anywhere, fostering a healthy work-life balance.
