Lead Manual QA Engineer – Fully Remote (NORTH WEST BASED)

Salary: £50,000 base + bonus

Location: Northwest based with one office visit per month

UK-based candidates only

This is a chance to be the first QA hire in a growing financial SaaS business. If you want ownership and the opportunity to build QA properly from the ground up, this role is worth a look.

You’ll be working in a Manual QA role alongside a senior engineering team who test their own code. Your focus will be on edge cases, system behaviour, and real-world risk with the authority to block releases when needed.

The platform is built on .NET, GraphQL, React, and AWS, with frequent releases and a technical BA validating requirements.

The role includes:

• Owning manual testing end to end
• Functional, exploratory, and regression testing
• API testing (REST / GraphQL)
• SQL-based data validation
• Close collaboration with developers
