MS Purview Support Engineer

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Your Profile & DNA:

We are looking for a skilled MS Purview Support Engineer to support and enhance our enterprise data security and compliance framework. If you have hands-on experience with data classification, sensitivity labeling, and DLP technologies, this opportunity is for you.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support and manage Microsoft Purview, including:

Sensitivity labels

DLP policies

Auto-labeling configurations

• Troubleshoot Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) / Azure Information Protection (AIP) issues

• Manage AD group assignments and coordinate deployments with Infrastructure teams
• Investigate and resolve DLP incidents, perform fine-tuning, and generate reports
• Create dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI
• Automate workflows using Microsoft Power Automate
• Participate in Change Management processes (CRs, CAB/TAB)
• Prepare SOPs, test cases, and documentation
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support data governance and regulatory compliance initiatives

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years in cybersecurity
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Purview / MIP / DLP
• Certifications preferred:

SC-400 (Microsoft Information Protection Administrator)

SC-900 (Microsoft Security, Compliance & Identity Fundamentals)

Hands-on experience with:

• Microsoft Purview
• MIP / AIP
• Microsoft DLP solutions

Strong understanding of:

• Data classification & labeling
• Data governance controls
• Compliance frameworks

Experience with tools such as:

• Symantec Data Loss Prevention (optional)
• Zscaler (optional)
• Digital Guardian (optional)
