At Step Social, we help businesses grow their online presence with high-quality, done-for-you social media content and paid advertising. We’re a fully remote, fast-growing team supporting hundreds of businesses across the UK and US.
We’re now looking for an experienced and dependable Social Media & Creative Specialist to help elevate the quality of our content and play a key role in shaping our Meta ads service as we scale.
This is a hands-on role combining content creation, paid ads management, and structured creative direction.
It’s ideal for someone with a few years of experience who enjoys focused, independent work and wants to play a meaningful part in a growing business.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Creative Ownership:
- Plan and create organic content for selected client accounts (static + short-form video)
- Establish clear creative direction and simple Canva foundations/templates
- Raise the overall quality and consistency of content across accounts
- Step in and improve content directly where needed
Guiding Content Creators:
- Provide structured direction to freelance content creators
- Record video walkthroughs or create simple written guides
- Review and refine work to ensure strong brand alignment
Meta Ads:
- Set up and manage campaigns within Meta Business Suite
- Contribute to refining and improving our Meta ads service
- Understand objectives, hooks, creative testing and paid vs organic differences
- Help ensure ad creative is aligned with campaign goals

Client Communication:
- Respond to client queries via email
- Join video calls when required
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years creating organic social media content for businesses (static + video)
- 1+ years experience setting up and running Meta ads campaigns
- Strong Canva ability (static, carousel, short-form video editing)
- Comfortable taking ownership of accounts
- Experience communicating with clients professionally (email + video call)
- Clear understanding of paid vs organic content
