Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer or Network Architect with 15+ years of progressive experience in designing, implementing, and managing global IT networks and network security. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of networking technologies, protocols, and a deep understanding of network security best practices. This role requires expertise in high-performance network design, routing, switching, and WAN management, as well as proficiency with cutting-edge network security tools and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Architecture & Design: Design and implement complex, scalable network infrastructures across global environments. Develop and optimize network topologies to support business needs and ensure efficient data flow, performance, and reliability.
- Protocol Expertise: Expert knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, routing (RIP, BGP, OSPF), switching, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, VPN, and more. Ability to configure and optimize IP routing protocols and design resilient network architectures.
- Advanced Networking Technologies: Hands-on experience with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls), load balancers (F5 GTM/LTM), VPN technologies, and network monitoring tools (NetFlow, IPSec, Malware Prevention, etc.).
- SDN and SD-WAN: Lead the design and deployment of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and SD-WAN solutions to optimize global network performance and reliability.
- Wireless Networking: Extensive experience with wireless technologies (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and integration of wireless infrastructure within the broader network environment. Expertise in Aruba Mobility Controllers, Aruba Airwave, Aruba Central, and related tools.
- Network Security: Manage and configure security solutions including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, Device Hardening, and vulnerability assessments to secure enterprise networks against threats.
- WAN & Global Network Management: Oversee the management and optimization of global Wide Area Networks (WAN), ensuring high availability, performance, and security across all geographies.
- Troubleshooting & Optimization: Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex network issues and proactively optimize network performance through continual assessment and fine-tuning.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear and detailed documentation for network configurations, architecture, and security protocols. Provide regular status updates, performance reports, and recommendations for improvements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including network administrators, security professionals, and IT leadership, to ensure seamless integration of network solutions into business operations.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, CompTIA Network+, CISSP) are highly preferred.

- Wireless Technologies: Experience with Aruba Mobility Controllers, Aruba Instant Client, and Aruba ClearPass.
- SDN & SD-WAN: Experience in deploying SD-WAN products and managing Software-Defined Networking environments.
- IPv4 and IPv6: Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with both IPv4 and IPv6 addressing and configuration.
- Network Monitoring & Optimization: Proficient with NetFlow, IPS/IDS, QoS, and Web Security/URL Filtering tools.
- Leadership & Problem-Solving: Strong leadership abilities, with a focus on mentoring junior engineers and managing complex projects. Excellent problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
