Senior DevOps Engineer

Job role: DevOps Engineer.

DESCRIPTION:

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the organisation’s HashiCorp Vault platform. This includes creating detailed documentation, implementing Configuration as Code and Infrastructure as Code practices, and ensuring secure, efficient management of secrets. The role involves leading and supporting project execution, handling maintenance activities, performing disaster recovery tests, and providing ongoing operational support. A strong security mindset, deep expertise in HashiCorp Vault, and solid experience with Terraform are essential to succeed in this position.

Tasks:

• Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for HashiCorp Vault.
• Configuring HashiCorp Vault using Configuration as Code and Infrastructure as Code approaches.
• Designing and developing new functionalities within the HashiCorp Vault platform.
• Overseeing the execution of projects and handling individual maintenance tickets.

• Conducting disaster recovery (DR) testing.

Minimum Mandatory Requirements:

• 11+ years of DevOps Experience.
• Project management methodology (Agile, Waterfall).
• Subject Matter Expert level of knowledge about Hashicorp vault.
• Strong Terraform Knowledge.
• Strong Security Mindset.
• Data analyses and reporting.
• Lifecycle of a secret manager product.
