Job Description

The role

We're partnering with a hyper-growth fintech organisation at an exciting stage of global expansion to find their next Head of Total Rewards & People Operations.

As the strategic and hands-on Head of Total Rewards & People Operations, you'll lead the design and delivery of the global rewards strategy and people operations function, ensuring programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with business objectives as the company gears up for IPO readiness. This is a Senior Director or VP-level role leading a small, high-performing team across a fully remote setup.

This is an incredible opportunity for a high-energy, hands-on Total Rewards leader with a 'founders mentality' who thrives on building, scaling, and shaping the future of a global People function. If you're excited by the idea of building foundational programs, influencing executive strategy, and working alongside a dynamic leadership team - this role is for you.

What you'll do:

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Total Rewards & People Operations team.
  • Act as a thought partner and advisor to senior leaders, including the CFO, on compensation, benefits, and people practices.
  • Design and implement scalable programs across global markets (U.S., India, Europe).
  • Own the compensation philosophy, including executive compensation and the evolution of equity programs (RSUs).
  • Drive change management initiatives - building consensus, securing buy-in, and communicating with clarity across the organisation.
  • Lead initiatives to ensure IPO readiness, including governance and disclosure processes.
  • Optimise HR systems, payroll, and equity platforms to drive efficiency and impact.

Who we're looking for:

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in total rewards, compensation, benefits, and/or people operations in high-growth technology companies.
  • Proven expertise in global compensation practices, equity programs, and executive compensation.
  • A natural change agent with strong intuition for navigating change management, building alignment, and influencing without authority.
  • Experience leading and developing teams, with a clear focus on how you grow people, not just manage them.
  • Experience scaling People Operations in multi-national organisations and preparing for IPO readiness.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Leadership presence with excellent executive communication skills.
  • Experience in SaaS or fintech environments, ideally having navigated Series C or D stages.
