Mandatory:
- Experience working with fragmented data sources, lack of documentation, unstructured requirements, and ambiguity.
- Firm understanding of basic statistical and machine learning concepts and experience with experimentation.
- Advanced SQL skills.
- Ability to code in and analyze data with Python.
- Ability to collaborate with product and marketing leaders and translate business requirements into analytical projects.
- Experience with Python analytics packages such as scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas etc.
- Advanced experience working with large and complex data sets to develop regression and classification models.
- Excellent quantitative, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to document data discovery findings, feature selection process, model determination process, and interpretation of insights.
- Ability to troubleshoot and document findings and recommendations.
- Deep knowledge of state-of-the art techniques in machine learning, statistics, optimization, or related fields. Demonstrated experience in successfully delivering data science projects.
- Experience working with business stakeholders and senior leaders in understanding data analytics and information needs, and executing on transformation of high-level, abstract data needs into meaningful data science solutions, information, and analysis.
- Experience converting raw data into processed, actionable, insightful information.
- Basic knowledge of machine learning and data processing services from cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services.
