About the Role
We are looking for three experienced Level 3 Network Engineers based in Colombo, Sri Lanka to join a support our client in Australia and be part of high-performing network operations team supporting enterprise environments. This role is primarily focused on BAU operational support, ensuring network stability, performance, and security across a large-scale infrastructure.
While the majority of the work will involve incident management, troubleshooting, and operational support, engineers will also occasionally assist with project-based network implementations and upgrades.
This role is fully remote and operates during 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM IST, working closely with regional infrastructure and security teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 3 technical support for enterprise network environments.
- Troubleshoot complex routing, switching, and connectivity issues across production environments.
- Support and maintain Cisco Meraki and Cisco networking infrastructure.
- Act as an escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 network engineers.
- Monitor network performance and proactively resolve incidents to ensure high availability.
- Assist with network upgrades, migrations, and project implementations when required.
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Work closely with internal teams and vendors to resolve complex network incidents.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering or operations roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies (routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, etc.).
- Solid experience managing and supporting Cisco Meraki environments.
- Experience supporting enterprise networks within a BAU / operational support environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to work independently in a remote operations environment.
