Email Marketing Manager (Contract)

Pay Rate: $62/hr

About the Opportunity


A Swoon client and leader in the entertainment industry is seeking an experienced Email Marketing Manager to join their Channel Marketing team on a contract basis. This role will focus on managing and executing high-impact email marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement, acquisition, and retention.

This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven marketer who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a strong background in email campaign management, CRM marketing, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end execution of email marketing campaigns, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to support campaign development, approvals, and deployment.
  • Prepare campaign documentation, tracking links, and UTM parameters to ensure proper campaign setup and performance reporting.
  • Conduct QA and auditing of email campaigns, ensuring content accuracy and optimal user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Creative, Brand, Legal, Digital Experience, Campaign Operations, and Analytics to support campaign execution.
  • Facilitate the creative development process by writing briefs, reviewing creative assets, and providing feedback based on marketing best practices.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and share optimization insights and recommendations with stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple campaign schedules simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and organization.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in email marketing, campaign development, and campaign execution.
  • Experience managing marketing campaigns in CRM or marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, HubSpot, Braze, or similar).
  • Strong project management experience working across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with campaign tracking, UTM parameters, and reporting tools.
  • Experience analyzing marketing performance and identifying optimization opportunities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within subscription-based businesses, telecommunications, media, or digital entertainment industries.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Tableau, Adobe Analytics, or Google Analytics.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Monday.com, Workfront, or similar platforms.
