Job Description
About the Company
We're an American digital media marketing agency for multi-location restaurant businesses. Our mission: become true partners in our clients' success — moving from marketing their businesses to owning equity stakes and franchisee partnerships in the brands we build.
We do social media management and content creation at our core, with a growing SEO division. We help busy restaurant owners grow their brands across social, influencer, SEO, and paid campaigns — offering email marketing, paid ads, web design, and brand identity as one-time projects or ongoing retainers. Clients typically start with social, then layer on additional services as their needs grow.
Our clients run multi-location restaurants across major US cities: Houston (Texas), Washington DC, Chicago (Illinois), and New York City. They start with a grand opening influencer package, then move to monthly retainers. They're busy owners managing anywhere from a few locations to a dozen, who trust us to make marketing effortless.
We've nearly doubled revenue year-over-year and maintain 20%+ annual growth. Our clients have been featured in the New York Times, The New Yorker, Eater, Chicago Tribune, and Washingtonian. Our Founder already owns a coffee shop with multiple locations — proof that we practice what we preach about building businesses, not just marketing them.
OUR COMPANY VALUES guide our team and shape our culture:
- 🤝 Honesty: We tell clients the truth, even when it's uncomfortable — everything we do is grounded in good ethics and morals
- 🎨 Creativity: Clients know their business better than we do — our job is to align our creativity and proven methods with their vision, not the other way around
- 🔗 Collaboration: In a creative environment, collaboration isn't optional — it's how great work gets made
- ⚡ Proactiveness: We move fast, respond fast, and stay ahead of what clients need before they have to ask
- 🎯 Empathy: We make things easy for clients — it's not just a nicety, it's core to the job
We're a fully remote organization with 6 full-time teammates and 2 interns, including Marketing Account Managers, a Social Media Manager, a Content Creator, and contracted Graphic Designer and Video Editor specialists. We're headquartered in Houston, TX, with teammates across the US and contractors in Turkey and India — our Houston team is transitioning to in-person soon.
Our team has worked together for three to four years — trust-based, close-knit, and low on micromanagement once you've found your footing. Communication runs almost entirely through Slack and text; meetings are rare internally and even rarer with clients. Things move fast: client messages get answered within business hours, deliverables turn around quickly, and the expectation is that you show up ready to execute.
About the RoleWe're looking for a remote Marketing Account Manager to own the full client experience for a portfolio of restaurant and multi-location business clients, from strategy and oversight to day-to-day communication and reporting.
In this role, you'll be the lead on everything that happens for your clients. You'll develop their marketing strategies, coordinate with internal specialists and contractors to execute across social, email, ads, influencer, and SEO, and ensure every deliverable is on time and on brand. You won't be doing everything yourself — you'll be orchestrating the right resources to make clients successful.
This is a high-autonomy role where you're trusted to run your own show with minimal hand-holding. You'll play a founding role in building our new SEO division, which means understanding SEO well enough to guide specialists and advise clients, even if you're not doing the technical work. The clients you'll serve are busy business owners who need someone to take the marketing burden off their plate and make it feel effortless.
Our IDEAL CANDIDATE brings 3–5 years of experience in roles like Marketing Account Manager, Client Success Manager, or Marketing Project Manager. You have hands-on experience running social media campaigns with a portfolio showing real results. You understand SEO at a strategic level: the channels, the principles, what good looks like, and how to improve it. You have a creative eye and a pulse on North American marketing trends. What matters most is your ownership mentality: you take the ball and run with it, you don't wait to be told, and you make decisions that free up leadership to focus on growth rather than firefighting. You're coachable, calm under pressure, and the kind of person who makes stressed business owners feel like everything is under control.
Performance Metrics: Your performance will be measured by client results, strategy effectiveness, and client happiness.
Reporting Structure: You'll collaborate with the entire team, including contracted specialists. This position reports directly to the Account Manager.
