Job Description
We are hiring a Senior Workday Analyst to lead hands-on implementation and configuration across Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and Performance.
This is a fully remote full-time opportunity for our end client who will hire directly on their W2. Occasional travel may be required based on business needs.
Due to ITAR regulations, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders.
This position is intended for a true implementor. We are seeking someone who has personally designed, configured, built, and supported Workday solutions in production environments.
Candidates whose experience is primarily QA, testing, coordination, or high-level advisory without deep configuration ownership will not be a fit.
You will partner closely with HR, Compensation, Talent, and IT stakeholders and must be comfortable influencing decisions, guiding requirements, and translating business needs into scalable system solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation configurations
- Supporting Talent Acquisition and Performance Management
- Building and administering merit, bonus, mid-year, and annual cycles
- Configuring business processes, workflows, security, and calculated fields
- Supporting succession, calibration, and development planning
- Performing tenant configuration, EIB/data loads, and sandbox validation
- Troubleshooting production issues and driving resolution
- Monitoring and improving data integrity
- Developing reports and dashboards for leadership
- Writing functional designs, documentation, and test cases
- Acting as a trusted advisor to HR and business leadership
- Supporting releases, upgrades, and enhancements

Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 12+ years of progressive Workday / HRIS experience
- Strong hands-on implementation experience in Core & Advanced Compensation and Talent/Performance
- Experience running compensation and performance cycles end-to-end
- Expertise in business processes, security, reporting, and integrations
- Proven ability to manage business stakeholders
- Experience owning production support and SLA commitments
- Ability to produce design and testing documentation
