Project

You will support the development and maintenance of payment plugins for an existing payment platform used by e-commerce merchants. The role focuses primarily on building and improving integrations for WooCommerce and Magento, ensuring secure, reliable, and well-documented payment flows.

You will work with a UK-based team and collaborate with other developers and technical stakeholders. The work includes extending existing plugins, implementing new payment features, fixing bugs, and ensuring compatibility with new versions of e-commerce platforms.

The position is part-time (0.25 FTE) and oriented toward an experienced developer who can work independently and contribute to architectural and technical decisions when necessary.

Expected competences and knowledge

• 5+ years of commercial experience in PHP development
• Strong experience with WooCommerce plugin development and maintenance
• Commercial experience with Magento integrations
• Good knowledge of HTML and JavaScript
• Experience with building and configuring development, testing, and production environments
• Experience working with on-premise infrastructure and cloud environments (preferably AWS)
• Understanding of e-commerce platforms and payment integrations
• Ability to work independently in a distributed remote team
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
