What You'll Do
We're looking for a talented Senior Automation QA Engineer (Playwright) to join our team! The ideal candidate possesses specialized testing and development skills and expertise in testing frameworks and methodologies. A strong focus on continuous testing (CT) engagement is essential. The candidate should have proven experience in web and API test automation, as well as object-oriented programming (OOP) implementation. Key attributes include manual or functional mobile testing, test management, and commitment to industry best practices.
The selected candidate will work on global-scale projects for enterprise clients across various technology domains, offering valuable exposure to innovative and mission-critical platforms. Responsibilities
- Practice: Implement tests following industry best practices and testing standards; assist in supporting mission-critical applications as necessary
- Quality & Process Advancement: Participate in team improvement initiatives to advance process and product quality
- Test & Deployment: Collaborate with team members to support the release of high-quality software; contribute to test requirement creation and ensure adequate unit test coverage
- Reporting & Documentation: Document test cases, results, and issues in an organized and clear manner
- Regression Testing: Validate software updates through rigorous regression testing
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure software quality
- Automated Testing: Develop and maintain unit, functional, and integration tests
- Mobile Testing: Conduct iOS and Android app tests to ensure platform compatibility
- Testing Frameworks: Use common testing tools to streamline automation
- Coding Standards: Write and maintain automation code according to best practices

Requirements and Technical Skills
- 5+ years of professional experience in testing
- Strong understanding of software internals and scripting languages for automation
- Proficient in various testing methodologies (Exploratory, Regression, Integration, etc.)
- Familiarity with project management frameworks (Waterfall, Scrum)
- Experience with test case management tools (TestRail, Xray, Zephyr)
- Skilled in identifying and managing risks and reporting defects clearly
- Experience with cross-platform, API (SOAP/REST), and database (SQL/NoSQL) testing
- Knowledge of mobile manual/functional testing
- Ability to design test strategies and manage test plans
- Hands-on experience with continuous testing practices and OOP implementation
- Strong awareness of automation tools and frameworks in Agile settings
